. Reenergize Your Primary Goals
Reminding yourself of what it is that you really want to accomplish is a great way to crank your energy back into high gear! One quick and easy way to do this is simply to complete this sentence; "What I really want to accomplish is..."
2. Reconnect with Your "Why"
When your energy level is feeling low a great way to get a quick pick-me-up is to reconnect with "why" you're working so hard. Every coaching client I've ever worked with has expressed a genuine desire to do things with their life that will help to make their life and the lives of others even better. It's very easy to reconnect with your "why" by completing the sentence; "I really want to accomplish this goal because..."
3. Refresh Your To-Do List and Your Priorities
Refreshing your to-do list is a GREAT way to beat the frustration of feeling overwhelmed by all the things you must do to accomplish your desired goals. This simple act is very effective for bringing yourself back to the present moment and will reignite your "can do" spirit. My favorite question for setting the priorities of my to-do list is simply, "What is the most effective thing for me to do right now?"
4. Energize Your Brain by Changing Your Physiology
Stand up, sit down, go for a short walk, go to the bathroom... just take a moment to change your physiology. This is a great way to boost your energy and get your mind back in gear. My favorite way to reengage the brain is to do a few "Cross Crawls". This is where you simply stand up and march in place. As you march in place you touch your knee with the opposite hand. So for example, when your left knee comes up you will cross your right hand over and tap that knee. Then when your right knee comes up you will cross your left hand over and tap that knee. A few minutes of Cross Crawls will wake up your left brain and your right brain as each side is involved in this exercise. (It's a bit like making circles on your stomach while tapping the top of your head... or is it the other way around?) Anyway, Cross Crawls are easy and very effective in waking up your brain so you can easily get back to the work at hand.
5. Set the Clock for a Specific Chunk of Time
A great way to get more of the truly important things done is to pick ONE priority and set out to spend a designated chunk of uninterrupted time working toward its accomplishment. My mentor uses 33 minutes for her designated chunks of time; however I use 28 minutes. I use 28 because in numerology 2 represents "faith that things will work out" and 8 represents "abundance". Choose any time amount you want however it is most effective to keep it under 40 minutes. Keeping it small will make it feel do-able no matter how hurried or busy you are on any given day - and it will feel great when you accomplish one, two, three or even more chunks of designated time working on something that will move you even closer to your desired success!
6. Express Your Gratitude
A great way to increase your SuccessEsteem™ is to acknowledge those things you are grateful for with a sincere "Thank You."
Saying "Thank You" is about being truly and genuinely grateful for all that you have in this moment. Being truly and genuinely grateful for all that you have opens up space for more good things to come into your life.
Whether you are experiencing a time of abundance or a time of lack, being mindful of the good things in your life will keep you in the present moment and in the present moment there is peace, joy, safety and abundance.
7. Acknowledge Your Successful Progress
This is one of the most effective ways to crank up your SuccessEsteem™!
To put the true power of acknowledging your successes into appropriate perspective I must first remind you that most people try to motivate themselves by dwelling on their failures and mess-ups. So hear me when I tell you that dwelling on your past failures will never, ever motivate you toward success. It is appropriate to learn from your past mistakes, however, it is not appropriate or effective to use your past mistakes in an attempt to punish yourself into creating success.
So, from this day forward, vow to only use your past mistakes as a learning tool and to consistently empower yourself by acknowledging your successes, your progress, and the unique skills you have to share with the world.
8. Connect with Someone You Cherish
Feeling "connected" to other people is an essential part of life. As human beings, we crave connection on a very primal level. So use this to your advantage by making a point of connecting with carefully selected people in a meaningful way every single day! You can send a quick email to someone you haven't connected with in a while or you can post a quick Facebook note on someone's wall that will brighten their day! It doesn't have to be a time-consuming connection. You can get a great deal of positive energy from making simple and meaningful connections on a regular basis with people you genuinely like.
9. Reconnect with Your Own Soul
Authentic SuccessEsteem™ is not boastful, it is about having a deep and sincere connection with your genuine worthiness for the success you seek.
You are never going to be "perfect" so it is important that you accept yourself just as you are and make the very best of what you have to share with your loved ones and with the world.
You can quickly and easily reconnect with your soul and your genuine worthiness by making a list of the things you like about yourself or making a list of your most positive characteristics.
Lastly and perhaps most importantly...
10. Think of Someone or Something You Really LOVE and Imagine Loving Yourself THAT Much!
This one shouldn't need much explanation. Just simply think of someone or something you really LOVE and imagine loving yourself THAT much!
Mmmmm... what a marvelously warm and happy way to feel about yourself!
Success Esteem is about feeling deeply and genuinely worthy of the success you seek because you know you are motivated to create your success for all the right reasons!
So, use these ideas to prevent momentary feelings of self doubt or low energy from turning into a full-blown self sabotaging event that takes up more of your precious time and energy than it deserves!
Persist until you succeed! You really are worthy of whatever success you seek for yourself!

Worthiness
"Worthiness, in very simple terms, means I have found a way to let the Energy reach me, the Energy that is natural, reach me. Worthiness, or unworthiness, is something that is pronounced upon you by you. You are the only one that can deem yourself worthy or unworthy. You are the only one who can love yourself into a state of allowing, or hate yourself in a state of disallowing. There is not something wrong with you, nor is there something wrong with one who is not loving you. You are all just, in the moment, practicing the art of not allowing, or the art of resisting."
Seeing cause as cause
If we believe that mind is the forerunner of all state and that it is the creator of all things, then it must follow that the cause of everything is the mind.
There are two aspects of this "mind is the cause of everything" scenario that we need to consider. The first is that our mind is the cause of all our subjective experiences. The second is that our mind is the cause of literally everything, both our subjective experiences and our objective physical reality.
Whether this second scenario is true or not is still being debated today. I personally suspect that it is true but am happy to hold this truth as "tentative truth" until further evidence is available in the future.
However, there is no doubt that the first scenario is true. In fact, this truth is the basis for psychological therapeutic techniques like CBT and its other variations. It is also the basis for the success of works by people like Byron Katie and Bruce di Marsico. The similarity in all these works is the observation that our thought gives rise to feeling, which in turn moves us into action.
In the case of the work of Byron Katie and Bruce di Marsico, they challenge the validity of our beliefs (thoughts). When we do this process repeatedly and long enough, we are finally led to the realisation that all our beliefs are empty of any real substance. They are not real. They become real to us only because we believe them to be real. In our belief, we give them the power to be real to us.
Thus, the external events by themselves cannot cause us to be unhappy. They are not the cause of our unhappiness. Rather, it is our own belief in the significance of those events that cause us to become unhappy. In Byron Katie's own words, it is our story that causes us unhappiness. Thus she asked, "What would you be without your story?"

Silva system
Things to Remember
When the instructor says to “project”—or “concentrate”—your sense of awareness on your scalp area, that’s where you start practicing concentration. Establish what your “awareness” is. Let’s pretend, for example, that it is a ray of light. Blue-white light. It is easier for us to focus a ray of light into that area than anything else.
Next you are instructed to detect the vibrations in that area, a “feeling of warmth caused by circulation”. Naturally, it is the blood circulation we are talking about. Concentrate on trying to feel the pulsations of those vibrations in that area. You may not feel them on your first try, but by the second or third effort, you will.
Then you are instructed to “release and completely relax all tensions and ligament pressures from this part of your body”. Don’t just recite it, concentrate on it, and exaggerate your imagination. How would you imagine your scalp being fully relaxed? Think. Concentrate. Maybe you would feel better imagining your scalp as if there is a warm, wet cloth draped over it. Use your imagination.
The instructor will also say positive affirmations such as “every day in every way I am getting better and better”. Another affirmation you will hear is “I am now learning to attune my intelligence, and developing my sensing faculties, and learning to project them to different locations”. This is an affirmation we use in our seminars to train people to develop ESP.
At a certain point, the instructor will say “When you next hear my voice one hour of time will have passed at this level of mind”. The instructor will then go silent for 30 seconds before you hear his voice again. This is a mental suggestion to make you feel as relaxed as if you just had an hour of rest. One hour of time does not really pass – only 30 seconds will pass. But your subconscious mind will take this suggestion as being true and so you will feel the effects of having just had one hour of time pass at the alpha level of mind. You’ll feel more relaxed and calm.
When you combine your physiological relaxation with your mental relaxation you will be much more relaxed at the end of that exercise. The more you practice, the easier it will be to relax completely. Please remember, the secret to success is discipline. Practice makes perfect.
This is no different from training your physical body and getting into shape. If you exercise your body only once per month you get very different results than if you exercise daily. The same principle applies when you train and exercise your mind. The more you go into alpha, learn to visualize, relax, and tune into your intuition, the healthier and better your life becomes.

Every one of the thousands of nerves in your body can be stimulated through the hands, but that’s not all. These nerves both give and receive information. When you join your hands together you create a closed circuit, through which you begin to balance the two hemispheres of the brain. The rest of the nervous system follows suit, energizing your entire system, evoking both calmness and clarity. To complete the posture, press your thumbs gently into the sternum, at the center of the chest. This stimulates the thymus gland, which boosts your immune and nervous systems. The result is a sense of well-being, biological reverence and spiritual experience.

Group 1: did 100% physical training.

Garfield said, “During mental rehearsal, athletes create mental images of the exact movements they want to emulate in their sport. Use of this skill substantially increases the effectiveness of goal-setting, which up until then had been little more than a dull listing procedure.”

The study examined the effect of mental training, including visualization, on four groups of world-class athletes just prior to the 1980 Olympics in Lake Placid, New York. The four groups of elite athletes were divided as follows:
Group 1: did 100% physical training.
Group 2: did 75% physical training, 25% mental training.

Group 4: did 25% physical training, 75% mental training.
What the researchers found was that group 4—the group with the most mental training—had shown significantly greater improvement than group 3.
Likewise, group 3 showed more improvement than group 2, and group 2 showed more improvement than group 1.
The results were astonishing. Who would expect that athletes training mentally would be able to advance further than their counterparts who were training physically?
Garfield said, “During mental rehearsal, athletes create mental images of the exact movements they want to emulate in their sport. Use of this skill substantially increases the effectiveness of goal-setting, which up until then had been little more than a dull listing procedure.”

Negative thought
Negative thoughts serve no purpose, they're useless

So instead of having thoughts of worry, doubt, gloom and
doom, or any negative thoughts, create positive thoughts that help you succeed.
Instead of worrying about what might go wrong, think about what might go right.
Think about how things could work out for you.
Think about how you can improve your life, or try to find solutions.
When you do this you direct your mind and

Your Self Image is basically the
perception you have of yourself.
Your identity, abilities, worth, etc.
It is your mental blueprint that determines:
* How you feel about yourself on a daily basis
AND under specific situations or circumstances
* Who you think you are and your "role" in society
* The kind and quality of results and outcomes
you expect (and receive) in life
* How you see yourself behaving and
reacting in certain situations
* Where your "comfort zone" is
(For example: the things you WOULD and WOULDN'T do)
The self image is one of the most powerful parts of our
personality, yet we pay so little attention to it mainly
because we were never taught about it in school,
by our parents, our friends, or even society.
Now, you may not believe me, but your self image
regulates everything you think, everything you feel,
and everything you do... everyday AUTOMATICALLY.
I'll prove it to you.
Have you ever tried to set a goal that's larger
than what you're currently used to, then quietly
backed down, returned to your comfort zone,
and fell into you old habits without realizing it?
That's because your self image was REGULATING
the amount of success you can achieve. You backed
down because deep down inside, it didn't feel like
something "you" would do.
Now let me give you another example...
If I asked you to go into a room full of
strangers, and go up to every single one
of them and introduce yourself with a smile
on your face, would you do it?
The reality is, unless you "thought of yourself"
as a naturally outgoing and likable person,
you probably wouldn't do it. The thought of
it might even make "you" nervous.
You might say something like,
"Oh, that's not who I am." or
"I'm not that kind of person."
But, how do you KNOW who you really are?
Most people have just accepted the
self image they were "given" instead
of designing and installing the one
they truly want.
(You know this is the case when you keep
trying to change but the change never sticks)
Now, even though you can't fight
against your self image,
but you can change it.

If you want to be the kind of person
who gets the things you WANT in life,
you have to see yourself AS THAT PERSON.
Think of change as something that happens
from the inside out. As you believe yourself
to be this new person, your behaviors will
naturally follow. And this is the secret
to creating LONG TERM change.
The good news is that changing your
self image isn't difficult when you
follow these 2 simple steps.
First, spend some time DESIGNING
the person who you want to be.
forget your past and everything you believe
about yourself and allow your mind to wander
and think about all the qualities you would
like to have. How you'd like to think, act
and feel about things. (this is done with
an open, non judgmental attitude)
Next, once you have a clear, inspiring
idea of who you want to be, INSTALL it.
There is a little more to this step,
but basically you want to imagine yourself
as this new person. Make it real by thinking
of specific situations and see, hear, and
feel yourself acting as this new person.
The more you do this the more you train
yourself to act this way and become this new
person, naturally.
So, take some time and do this, remember
there's nothing to it, but to do it.

SATISFACTION WITH HIGHER POWER
A Krishna conscious person is completely satisfied. He does not depend on anything external for his happiness. He is satisfied simply by the opportunity to serve Krishna. And Krishna can be served in any time and in any circumstance through any one of nine different processes such as: hearing, chanting, remembering, offering prayers, etc. All we really need to practice Krishna consciousness is the strong desire to do so. Krishna will then give us everything else we need in order to fully devote our lives to Him.
Sometimes it seems that the material world is throwing so obstacles on our path that it is impossible for us to fully absorb ourselves in Krishna consciousness. But the reality is that there is no material impediment which can obstruct us on our path of devotional service. All we require is the fixed determination that I must surrender to Krishna no matter what may happen or what anyone may say.
A devotee of Krishna does not have to be in anxiety about earning his livelihood. He simply labors honestly and depends on Krishna to take care of him. He knows that his livelihood is not being provided by his job or his business. He knows that his livelihood is being provided by Krishna. After all, what do we eat? Do we eat money? We eat food, which is provided by God. The same with air, water, and all the other necessities of life. They are all there by the kind arrangement of the Lord. Simply we must acknowledge His kindness and show our appreciation by engaging ourselves 100% in his service. Then we will have no difficulties.

Atrial Fibrillation Can Be Prevented

More than half of all cases of atrial fibrillation could be prevented if people took better care of themselves. That's the conclusion of a 17-year long study.
The study authors claim that this is just as true for other types of heart disease.
Atrial fibrillation (AF) is a disease where the heart beats erratically, causing it to pump blood inefficiently. This causes poorer circulation and raises the risk of heart attack and stroke. It's most common in elderly individuals. But it's not always a consequence of bodily aging.
The researchers also found racial and gender disparities in the prevalence of AF risk factors. More than 80% of African-Americans had one or more risk factors, compared to 60% of whites.
The study found that over half of all cases of AF were linked to specific risk factors — high blood pressure, diabetes, smoking and being overweight. By far, the strongest risk factor was high blood pressure, which accounted for more than one-fifth of all cases. Controlling blood pressure alone could cut the occurrence of atrial fibrillation by over 20%.
In the study, people with a low-risk profile were two-thirds less likely to develop AF than people with a high-risk profile. This suggests that if more people lowered their risk factors, there would be fewer cases of AF.
Yet only 5% of the people had this low-risk profile.
The study followed 14,598 middle-aged adults from four communities in Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi and North Carolina. Their average age was 54. A total of 55% were female, 75% were white and 25% were African-American. The average time of follow-up was 17 years. During the study, 1,520 new cases of AF were diagnosed.
After an initial interview and medical exam, the participants were divided into three groups based on their risk factors for AF: high, medium or low. Only 5% fit into the low-risk group. More than 25% fell in the medium risk group and two-thirds fell in the high-risk group. People in the low-risk group had normal blood pressure and weight and did not smoke or have other heart disease or diabetes.
Nearly 57% of the new cases of AF could be explained by elevated risk factors, particularly high blood pressure.
The researchers also found racial and gender disparities in the prevalence of AF risk factors. More than 80% of African-Americans had one or more risk factors, compared to 60% of whites. Only 2% of African-American men and women had optimal risk factors, compared to 3% of white men and 10% of white women.
The researchers point out that these disparities show a special need for African-Americans to closely monitor and treat any high blood pressure or diabetes.
